Heading
Japandi Houses was founded by Swedish creator Anton Wormann, known as Anton in Japan. Growing up in a 1909-built home in suburban Stockholm, he developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, timeless design, and the stories old homes can tell.
Heading
In 2018, Anton moved to Japan, where he discovered a growing number of abandoned houses waiting to be revived. What began as a personal passion—renovating these forgotten spaces — has grown into a mission: to breathe new life into them, blending Scandinavian simplicity with Japanese tradition.

Heading
Today, Japandi Houses offers beautifully restored stays, preserving history while creating warm, inviting homes for travelers to experience Japan in a whole new way.
